Off-street parking for 2 vehicles and two motorised garages for easy parking. Plus, 24hr surveillance alarm system for extra peace of mind. Driftwood is only a 2 min walk away from rock pools, superb fishing spots and shell covered sandy beaches. It is perfectly perched on exclusive Ocean View Drive, and still conveniently close to shops between Struisbaai and Agulhas. The iconic Agulhas red and white lighthouse and Africa’s most southern tip is a quick drive away and a great little route along the coast if you like walking or cycling. The main Struisbaai beach, and - Plaat (the longest uninterrupted white sandy beach in the Southern Hemisphere (14km!), and the perfectly formed Struisbaai Harbour where the famous Parrie the huge stingray lives, are all within easy reach. Also, the area is a mecca for kite surfers, surfers and anglers alike. You will never want to leave. Things to note This is much loved family home, so please treat it with the respect it deserves, and note that an elderly family member lives in a separate granny flat underneath the main house. It has its own separate entrance and garden area, so you might not even notice them during your stay. The apartment shares water, electricity and WIFI with the main house. The house and flatlet each have their own separate alarms systems. Some doors in the house are marked PRIVATE. Please treat them as such. There is a pool guy that comes to service the pool regularly, so you might see him during your stay, and we also have a Malawian gentleman who comes every second Saturday to help my mum in the garden and around her house. These are all essential upkeep appointments, and we will always try let you know if they are due to visit the property during your stay. The property is strictly non-smoking, and no pets allowed.
